With the accreditation of the NMi EuroLoop liquid calibration facility a state of the art liquid lab is born. As from the 4th of December 2015 EuroLoop's hydrocarbon liquid flow facilities are operated under EuroLoop's ISO 17025 accreditation, K161. This is the final step that concludes a long period of construction, testing, intercomparison measurements and acquiring accreditation.
The facility is able to perform calibrations of a liquid volume flow meter with a best measurement capability of 0.02% using piston provers as a reference. For mass meters the best measurement capability is 0.04%. Values apply to all hydrocarbon liquids: 1, 10 and 100 cSt viscosity. These capabilities make EuroLoop the most accurate high-flow calibration facility in the world.
